Meet AI Flow: Your Booking Business Has an AI Assistant Now

What if your booking software actually knew your business?

You’ve probably tried asking ChatGPT a question about your bookings. Maybe something like “how much revenue did I make in March?” or “what’s my average booking value this quarter?” The answer is always the same: it doesn’t know. It can’t know. It has no idea what your business looks like.

AI Flow is different. It’s an AI assistant built directly into your Airflow portal, and it has full read access to your actual data — your bookings, your resources, your guests, your settings, your revenue. When you ask it a question, the answer comes from your numbers, not from a generic model guessing.

How it works

AI Flow is powered by a fast, efficient language model purpose-built for business data queries. But the model is only half the story. What makes AI Flow useful is context injection — before the AI sees your question, Airflow loads relevant data into the conversation.

Cross-section of an AI brain filled with organised business data layers representing context injection

This means AI Flow knows:

  • Your bookings — dates, amounts, guest names, statuses, payment records
  • Your resources — properties, venues, boats, whatever you manage
  • Your org settings — currency, timezone, vertical, plan tier
  • Your vertical — it knows if you run holiday rentals or a boutique hotel or a safari lodge, and it speaks your language accordingly

When you ask “which property had the most cancellations last month?”, AI Flow doesn’t ask you to paste a spreadsheet. It already has the data. It gives you the answer.

Session-based pricing (not per-message)

Here’s where AI Flow diverges from every other AI product you’ve used.

Most AI tools charge per message, per token, or per query. ChatGPT Plus costs $20/month for unlimited use. Specialized AI tools charge $0.01-0.10 per API call. The mental math of “is this question worth asking?” kills adoption.

AI Flow uses session-based pricing. One action opens a 12-hour session. During that session, you can send as many messages as you want. Ask follow-ups. Dig deeper. Change topics. The session stays open.

One action. Twelve hours. All your questions. That’s it.

What you can actually ask

AI Flow isn’t a novelty chatbot. It’s a business tool. Here’s what real users are asking:

Revenue and performance:

  • “What was my total revenue last month?”
  • “Which resource generates the most income?”
  • “What’s my average booking value across all properties?”

Booking lookups:

  • “Do I have any bookings arriving this weekend?”
  • “What are the details for booking #4521?”
  • “Show me all bookings for the Smith family”

Guest intelligence:

  • “How many times has this guest booked with me?”
  • “What’s the total lifetime value of repeat guests?”

Business insights:

  • “What’s my busiest month historically?”
  • “How does this quarter compare to the same period last year?”
  • “What percentage of my bookings come from each channel?”

Help and guidance:

  • “How do I set up a new resource?”
  • “What does the reconciliation status mean?”
  • “How do actions work?”

The AI also suggests follow-up questions based on your conversation. Ask about revenue, and it might suggest breaking it down by resource or by month. Ask about a booking, and it might suggest checking the guest’s history. It’s designed to help you explore your data, not just answer one-off questions.

Context-aware, not generic

This is worth emphasising. AI Flow doesn’t give you the same answer it would give any other user. It adapts to your business.

An AI assistant at the centre of five business verticals, adapting its vocabulary for each industry

If your vertical is Property, it talks about properties, guests, check-ins, and check-outs. If your vertical is Event, it switches to venues, attendees, and event dates. If you run a Rental business, it’s assets, renters, and pickup dates. Same intelligence, different vocabulary.

It also respects your currency. If your account is set to EUR, revenue figures come back in euros. If you’re in GBP, pounds. No conversion confusion, no dollar-defaulting.

Free support chat — no actions needed

Not every conversation needs AI Flow. Sometimes you just need help with a setting or want to understand how something works.

Airflow includes a free support chat that uses a smaller context window — 20,000 tokens per day, no action cost. It can answer general questions about the platform, help with navigation, and guide you through common tasks.

Think of it as the difference between asking a colleague a quick question (free) and sitting down for a deep-dive analysis session (one action). Both are available. You choose which one fits.

What AI Flow doesn’t do (yet)

Honesty matters. Here’s what AI Flow cannot do today:

  • It doesn’t modify your data. AI Flow is read-only. It can tell you about your bookings, but it can’t create, edit, or cancel them. This is a deliberate safety decision.
  • It doesn’t integrate with external services. It knows your Airflow data, not your Airbnb inbox or your Xero account.
  • It doesn’t predict the future. It can show you trends and patterns, but it’s not a forecasting engine.

These limitations are temporary, not permanent. The read-only constraint, in particular, is one we plan to relax as we build confidence in the system’s accuracy. But we’d rather ship something reliable today than something powerful but error-prone.

The bigger picture

AI Flow is part of a broader belief: your booking software should be getting smarter, not just bigger. Adding another settings page or another report doesn’t help if you still have to find, read, and interpret the data yourself.

An AI that already knows your business — that can answer a question in 3 seconds that would take you 10 minutes to figure out from a dashboard — that’s a genuine productivity shift. Not a gimmick. Not a chatbot bolted onto the side.

It’s built into the product because it should be part of the product.
